I certainly hope this is the right forum for this question.

I have a brand new computer that I've recently installed the Sims 3 on, and I did everything right to create the mods folder for custom content, but now when I start my game, my graphics are really dark. Everything else works fine, it's just that the graphics are dark. It's also not my monitor, because anything else I open (browsers, other games, etc.) look fine. It's not a really big issue, but it does kind of ruin the enjoyment for me. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you fix it? I can take a screenshot if needed.

ETA: Nevermind, I found the solution on The Sims 3 website. I'm adding the link so others with this problem can find the fix.
