Default Pet Peeves in Writing
Does anyone else have certain things that they hate to see in writing? I have quite a few. For example, describing eyes as jewels, like "sapphire eyes" and "emerald eyes". It's just so cliched at this point. I'm also not all that fond of Mary Sues or Gary Stus, and I really dislike it when things are shoehorned into the story because someone thought it needed to be in there.

Having the plot and characters for a story down, but not having the time/energy/motivation to write it.
