Default Why does this happen?
If you look down at the picture the problem I'm having is pretty obvious, this bar thing has happened on a couple other conversion attempts too and I really want to know why

That looks like a hairclip. Maybe it's the same issue as emmzx had a while ago with the phantom ponytail group?

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

You have to edit your UV Map and the texture if needed. Enter to Milkshape's Image Coordinates Editor and move the vertices of that piece of hair. (the vertices next to the "borders" of the texture usually cause this)
