Thank you for again providing a mod to get rid of the eyesore that is the mosaic. I had some trouble getting the file downloaded with Mozilla firefox, but trying again with Explorer allowed me to get it un-corrupted. Thanks again for sharing this.

For a species that claims to be intellectually superior to all other life forms, humans do some stupid things.

Did anyone raised the question of losing that important thing between legs after moded? Does that means I need a nude skin replacement?

@Danny_Jia: For more realistic nudity check what sexysims2.com has to offer.

@MichelleBerry: Have you patched your base game to the latest patch version? If so, the No Mosaic 1.24 will work for you. Installing WA won't matter because the base game always includes the effects for all expansions and the latest No Mosaic will make sure that you have all existing effects for all expansions and stuff packs (except the mosaic obviously . So keep using the No Mosaic and you should be able to see all WA effects.

Having some difficulty. Downloaded the the file and extracted it to my Packages folder under Mods. Deleted caches i was instructed to delete. Even downloaded that d3dxsomething file and extracted that to a Bin. The mosaic is still appearing. Any advice?

yes i did patched my base game to the lastest one, & i tried your no mosaic yesterday & it works really fine. i dont like the old version of no mosaic i had bcos everytime i go to buymode it always leave + sign there everytime i deleted something it always stays there its really annoying thats why i want to use yours bcos your update/release works fine to me. thank you so much, once again good job.

@HeyoAsian: I'm afraid not. This is a really straightforward mod. There's nothing different to do than for any other package mod. Do other mods work for you?

Some mods do work where as others dont. But those mods are just for certain hair and accessories. Ive been unzipping them with WinRAR and recently downloaded 7zip to see if that was the problem. I may just be doing something wrong. Here are the exact steps I take:

1. Download
2. Open with WinRAR (or 7-ZIP File Manager)
3. Open file (3books icon) from the Download center (Firefox's little box that pops up when you download stuff)
4. Right click on the second item on the list (First being a folder titled "...") And extract it to my Sims3/Mods/Packages folder.

@HeyoAsian: For me the steps are download, open the zip from "Downloads" window in Firefox, which opens the zip in a normal Windows Explorer, where it contains the file "velocitygrass_nomosaic_1_24.package" and nothing else, which is just over 1 MB large.

I have my own Resource.cfg file, so I don't have a Packages folder, but if that is where you keep other .package files that work, then this one should work too.

The only reason I could think of why it doesn't work is if there is a conflict with another mod that modifies the same resource. Do you have other mods that do something with effects?

@HeyoAsian: I'm afraid I can't recommend anything other than going through the steps of setting up your mods folder again. I'm sorry. Good luck!

Do I need to download both or just one?

@efowl: Only use one! If you've updated to the latest patch use 1.24. If you still are on patch level 1.22 use the Generations one.
