Default Custom Content Istallation on a Mac
I recently installed The Sims 3 on my Mac, however, I have absolutely no idea on how to add CC on the game on a mac. If it was my PC I would have no problem doing this but it crashed. Can someone please give me a step by step on how to add CC on a mac? I have searched the web over and I"m still confused on the process. Please help me.

Thanks for your time and patience,
Dodit

The procedures are exactly the same on the Mac OS as they are on Windows. For sims3pack content, the files go into Downloads and are read/installed by the Launcher. For package based content, which includes mods, you set up the Framework with the required Resource.cfg file and the CC/mods files get placed into Mods/Packages.

For the package base kind, here are step by step illustrated instructions that are OS X friendly.

Like many others, I lost patience with the built in limitations (2 GB of RAM, that's it, if the game reaches for more it crashes or Error12s upon trying to save which is just as bad ) of the Mac version of TS3 long ago, bootcamped Windows, and play the Windows version on my Mac instead.
