This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, Nightlife, Open for Business, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Deleted stuff keep on coming back when I reopen Sims 2
I have a lot of custom content so I am trying to get rid of the ones I don't use. I delete them in the game during buy/build mode by clicking on the item and then on the garbage can to delete them. However, when I save the game and reopen it later on the items I recently deleted are back. How do I fix this problem? Additionally, I have no idea what the file names are and I also have Sims 2 Pack Cleaner but many of the previews aren't clear enough to tell what the object is. So, these 2 other methods won't work for me.

Thanks!

Right click your The Sims 2 folder in Documents and hit Properties. Clear the Read Only box and hit Apply, then Apply to all files and subfolders. You might have to have the game closed while you're doing this.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
