Error message when updating Installer
Hi Y'all,

I have the same problem jmart listed elsewhere in this thread: when I try to update the Clean Pack Installer I get this message...

C:\Program Files\Sims2Pack Clean Installer\url.txt
Starting Web Update
Connecting to: http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/15/
Checking Version
Checking last update
Last update: 20050112
Local: Local hack db

...But then I also get this really long error message in another pop-up window (that doesn't allow me to cut-n-paste from it) that starts out like this:

System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.
at System.Number. (blah-blah-blah...)
at System. (yada, yada, yada...)
at System. (more of the same... it continues for about 20 lines or so.)

I only downloaded the installer a couple weeks ago, so I'm sure it's the last version. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this same thing happen when they hit the 'Update' button, and if there's a way to fix it?

Thanks for any suggestions - I really appreciate all the help I've found on this site! WOW!
Gotta go, I hear my Sims calling...
Catherine

The Clean Installer hasn't been updated for a while, so you do have the latest version- no need to update.
