Default Garages and foundation
I can't get a garage to connect to foundation with constrainFloorElevation false without having the wall cover the garage door. Does someone have this figured out yet?

I didnt know we could use this cheat in game, it is with the sims 3?

Yes, this cheat works in The Sims 3. However, I have the same problem here when I use the cheat, the upper wall end up blocking the upper half of the garage instead of warping around it like in Sims 2.

I hope some one find a solution for this someday.

The same happens with any door or window. The wall seems to cover it

KrypticK2: This usually only happens when you have the cheat moveobjects on enabled, make sure you don't have that on while placing windows.

Tutorial
I have written a tutorial on how to do this using The Sims 3, it is attached below

Hi, I have a similiar problem to the first post. I have a garage on foundations but need to make the ground slope towards it somehow. (so the garage door will have a ramp). Is this possible or do i have to build garages on ground level?

*EDIT*

Hmm, cant seem to make a ramp up to garage so have gone and done it different now..

I like work, it fascinates me.
I could sit & watch it all day!
