I got this before, too, but only once.

"Hey Phil, you're in Seattle now? Well, I'd like to speak with you. Running for mayor? I'd be flattered. Blah, blah, blah, blah..." and then he says, "Our email address is [and it was EXACTLY THE SAME AS MINE (I don't know how he obtained or invented it, as I had the same issue as my dad did and I have a really, really rare nickname that I used as plural for the email account).]" (I thought to myself, outraged, "What? That's MINE! Every single letter and even the gmail.com provider!") I ended up writing him back saying it must of been a ploy to spam me. He said it was genuinely a mistake.

*Is interested in the Jane Austen email too.*

I also sometimes get spam with just 6 random words in it. "Prosperity, library, pavement.. etc..." That's weird too.... I wonder if I have to send back the right 6 words to get access to world power or something? Or at least some free Viagra....

I sign up to random websites to actually get spam! I love reading it, sometimes it's so funny. I do keep getting spam asking me to join the American army though.. and I dunno how that would work because 1. I'm not old enough yet and 2. I'm not an American citizen.

The funniest spam I've ever got was from our general director's address. She is a lady approaching the age of sixty, very ellegant, with good manners. So imagine the surprise to get an email written by "her" with the text "My pennis got larger by two inches, do you want to know how?"

I was truly tempted to write her back "Yes, I know how to get it larger, but it works just for a few minutes."
