@simsample the only save was back when she level six in board breaking and only had very few gems from collecting them around town. Though not all progress was lost, it was sort of one of those times where you just give up because you didn't want to have to do the whole thing over again.

Ok, so if casting ice blast on a toilet will clog it (as opposed to freezing the pipes and actually breaking it) I can sort of understand why fire blast would make things worse rather than simply melting the clog. And I can understand why making the toilet unbreakable didn't help. If this whole thing has happened on 3 different toilets so far, then even I, who am not a genius, can see a pattern. You are a genius. So why is the toilet clogged by an ice blast again?

Almost every time my sims have to go deliver something to an individual rather than a location, they drop what they're doing, go to do it...and start dawdling on something else. Or else they go to the person and just stand there in front of them and do nothing.

My Sims mostly cause me problems when I let my Sims date and they have a theirs on the second major island of Isla Paradiso. One is waiting for the other person, because the water taxi seems to be a hell of a problem. It takes too long, leaving the waiting Sims to go home. End of date.

Snow blocks the small Sims brains anyway. Even when it's snowing heavily and the snow is too deep to simply relax on the floor, Sims still tend to go outside in casual summer clothing, or even with less cloting, their swim or underwear (like a boxer). And the ''I'm cold'' image is kinda odd. Even after being outside in winter clothes for just 5 seconds, they still complain about being cold after an hour in a normal room, even still wearing their winter coats.

I hate it when sims encounter a routing problem and just wait for a while, tapping their foot.

My sim really, really wanted to sleep in the Future, so she got to Community Center and desperately ran to a dreampod. Too bad, someone else followed her. She was still first and would have got to the pod first, if only she didn't choose to stand like an idiot and tap her foot. Of course, the guy happily occupied the dreampod while she was doing that. Argh!

After 6 months without playing, some weeks ago I bought a new laptop and installed all my games and CC again. Well, my sim is on the criminal career, and when he was coming back from work around 3:00 AM he just met his pal Mr. Burglar visiting his house. The guy took their computer (and it was the cheaper one), my sim wasn't able to fight with him, he called the police and of course they just came to his house just when Mr. Burglar was lefting.

No, this is not a nap. Tina thinks she doesn't need a blanket in mid winter. No wonder she needed her vaccination the next day. And the couple doesn't know what carpooling is. Both went to get one against the flu at the same time, they both went in two different cars.

First thing the annoys me is how sims will go to the edge of a lot to attempt to look out the window, but then fail because they are nowhere near it. You just passed the window, about 15 feet behind you.

The second happened a few days ago. I told my teen sim to do the house laundry, and about halfway through collecting it she started high tailing it off the lot with all the laundry. I followed her for awhile and eventually told her to go home. Best I could figure is she was heading the the laundry room of my apartment complex. No one has done it since, but it was fairly amusing.

Skye? That is not the snowboarding ramp. It's Summer; the ramp isn't even there. Syke, stop climbing the invisible-STOP THAT!

When you give your Sims some lengthy tasks to do and switch to another window, then switch to the game again after like a minute only to discover that they did 5% of what you told them, there are puddles in the hallway, the shower is broken, there is Horrifying mac & cheese on the counter and a sim is screaming from starvation. And the other one errored halfway off the map because he figured it would be easier to circle the entire island first to do the laundry rather than dump it in the washing machine right next to the hamper.

Oh, and one of my vampires keeps actively cockblocking her son by interrupting him from woohooing with his new wife, to take a selfie in the bathroom. This happens even when I queue actions for both of them myself. The selfie overrides all!

So my sim sent a woohooty text.



The problem? The woman he texted is not only his sister, the two of them are 2/3rds of a triplet set. And I thought sims dating their parent's first cousin was bad.

Xip, ambitious, LTW to become CEO, so he joins the business career.
First day, hangs out by the water cooler all day, chatting to coworkers, which somehow stresses him out so much he wishes to skip work. DUDE.
Meanwhile, Sandra finally gets promoted, and immediately, her performance is in the red for missing work, because her work hours changed after the promotion. WTF game.

Rain has the jockey LTW, so naturally, she spams horse-related wishes from day 1. Imagine an adult-sized toddler throwing tantrums because she wants her pony.
Once I finally cave in and get her a horse, the tone of her tantrum-wishes changes... Rain, you don't get to woohoo in the bloody haystack, you haven't even LOOKED at your BRAND NEW HORSE yet!
I swear the dog is the only sane adult in that household.

My sim went to the future and met one of his sim roommates. She flirted with him and then he pointed at her and laughed because she was wearing pants and a shirt that counted as "underwear." Then, Timothy Landgraab was outside with a laser harp. What did he decide to play on what could have been a great sounding instrument? Pop goes the weasel. And the harp sounded like a cheap synthesizer used in old porn.

My sim was going to propose. He took his fiancee to a dinner at the bistro, They began to get mobbed, because I forgot that I had been playing another game where I needed the active household to be part of the celebrity system and had accidentally left it turned back on so they are now both celebrities. (And now he's a level 2 celebrity, although since he's got 50k coming every week from book royalties I guess it makes sense for him to be well-known. ) So he took her home. She accepted his proposal, and then he got a wish to train her. All he had at home was his martial arts dummy, so he started training her in martial arts. She would not stop! He finally took her to the park to get her off the training dummy. Suddenly she is booing him for being in formal wear, and he is booing her for being in her martial arts outfit.

TL;DR Two sims who had perfectly valid reasons for being in the outfits they were in, who knew what those reasons were, and who are very much in love with each other, were mocking each other for the clothing they wore to the park.

(And this did not stop her from getting an athletic point right after they finished making out. ) (Ok, it was a slow notification. But the timing was awesome!)

I also still question why the game keeps sending starving vampires out in broad daylight. Any time he goes to a community lot, there is at least one person there with black smoke streaming off them and complaining about being hungry.

Sure, Skye. Wake up from the sleep you desperately need, get out of that comfortable bed I just bought you (bringing my household fund to a grand total of 1$ - and it's just the 900$ double bed) and make the bed, you neat Sim... so you can PASS OUT. Instead of sleeping. Makes sense.

Oh and gotta love the TACT newly-widowed Sims have (or at least mine do), rolling wishes to have a bachelor/ette party and get married hours after their spouse died.

I know students have different rhythms from ordinary people, but this happened just after I aged my baby in one go towards teen:

I just had a sim family in Aurora Skies (moved now), with three young adult sisters and their elder newly-widowed mom. The mom and two of the sisters were living on their own, as I was playing with the third sister. Anyway, I got a notification that the mom was knockin' boots with one of the townies, a young adult male. I though, okay, if it makes the old lady happy, go for it. Sure enough, in matter of days they got married and I thought that's that. But then, in just a few days, I got a notification that this guys is knockin' boots with one of the sisters now and yep, the mom and this guys were no longer married. Annoying but I let it go and the new couple got married. Then, again only few days go by and I get yet another notification that this guys is now knockin' boots with the second sister. I'm really starting to hate this guy but again, let it go and let them get married. Okay, I though he was now done since there were no more sisters left due to me controlling the third one but oh no, next thing I know I get notification that he's knockin' boots with one of the townies and suddenly they have a baby on the way (without any intent to marry the mother). At that point I'm seeing red and so annoyed by this guy, that I used MC to marry him to that poor townie and made it so that he can't divorce her, ever. Let's just say that his casanova days were permanently over.
