This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, Late Night, Seasons
Default Sims file
Well, my friend game me a link from mediafire to download her sim. its a sim file. although when i clicked it and it popped up a blue child. she said just change the clothes or hair and it will appear, but it never did. explain? or help?

Try tweaking the skin options. Most likely your friend used a custom skin on her sim.
