This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise
Default Accessory tattoo suddenly blurry
I've been using this tattoo for a while now and it's been fine right up until recently.

It used to look like this:

And now it looks like this:

As you can see, that's a big difference. My sim detail is set to Very High. I already tried to change it to High and then put it back on Very High, no change. This is pretty frustrating. Any ideas?

(What happened to his wings?)

I'm wondering if his tattoos lost some opacity between the first picture and the second? I'm not sure how, though.

I am Ghost. My husband is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.

(I'd just loaded him out of CAS and they hadn't appeared yet)

No, I'm stumped. I'll add my DeviceConfig to see if that helps anyone:

That didn't help, I'm afraid. Thanks anyway.

If you have recently added another accessory to the sim, that may be the cause. For whatever reason, accessories lose details if they're applied to a sim in even numbers (2, 4 and so on) and it's particularly noticeable with high-detail accessories such as tattoos. Using an odd number of accessories will sometimes help with the blurry issue.

I managed to fix it! I decided to try updating the graphics drivers, and now it's back to its full clarity. I guess something must have got messed up. Thanks for the replies, I'll remember those suggestions next time anything else goes wrong.
