Launcher won't launch!
The launcher for my game has suddenly stopped launching. It won't even give me an error message. I click on the icon on my desktop (I've tried going directly into the program files as well) and it will pretend to load for a second (the mouse turns into the wheel) and stops. It doesn't even flash up on the screen. It has done this once before and I found a forum somewhere that helped me fix it but I've forgotten where that was and haven't been able to find it after about a week of searching. I've slogged through the forums here and on the sims3 website but most of what I found for launcher problems talk about error messages. I've eradicated all problem custom content, updated Origins, deleted my caches, checked the targets for the launcher shortcut, and completely removed all my CC from the folders but to no avail. I got the most recent update (1.29) right before it stopped working. I currently can't install .sims3packs whereas up until yesterday I could just by double clicking them. Now, even that has stopped working. I'd like to at least find a workaround so I can get my downloads and possibly even download from the sims3 website. I think last time, the fix had something to do with my computer, something about switching from one option to another in something. Not very helpful, I know, but I believe it had to do with having the wrong something selected...Anyway, any help beyond uninstall and reinstall would be appreciated, I'm trying to avoid that but I'm getting desperate...

Consider this:
http://crinrict-help.blogspot.com/2...to-factory.html
I once had launcher error but it's gone after I reset my The Sims 3 folder.
Besides, the Launcher is not a big loss, you still got a better choice from our community:
