Default Sims2Pack Clean Installer WILL NOT INSTALL
Yes, I have tried clearing my registry. Yes I have made absolutely sure that there is not a kernel of the program left on my computer.

The program is STILL claiming that it is already installed but I know for a fact that it is not. I cleaned the registry manually and used CCleaner for good measure. I have tried the no-installer version but for some reason windows will not allow me to associate sims2pack files with it and I cannot use it to open any of them.

Any suggestions I've not yet tried would be helpful. Don't bother suggesting that I defrag or clean my computer. I build computers for a living, I know how to do all of that and it is done very regularly with this machine.

Have you tried clearing your pre-fetch, then cleaning your registry again?
