Default Way to choose what type (gender, age, etc) apartment neighbors(NPCs) will be spawned?
Is there a way to have control over what type of NPC/townie neighbors will occupy the vacant apartments in any given building? I'm planning a retirement community apartment, and want only elderly sims to be generated for NPC neighbors, and no young sims.

As far as I know there isn't one. You could try just making your own elders and moving them in, or use cheats or a mod to age all of the newly-spawned neighbors up to elder.

If the neighbors you get aren't already elders, use "AgeSimsCheat on" to age the other neighbors to elder.
