Default How to Upload Content For Macs?
Hello All! I'm new to the website! So I am a mac user and I have my eye on some custom content, but I have no idea how to put it into my game. And before anyone says it; YES I found the upload page on the website and it is completely unclear to me. I dont know how to access those certain files on my mac to input the newly downloaded files into the folders. I dont know if I should ctrl+click and show package contents. Its really unclear and doesn't walk me through. Maybe someone could shed some light, or point me to a thread that has a more in depth explanation? Thanks!

Installing .package based content is exactly the same on the Mac OS as it is on Windows. There's no ctrl clicking or showing of package contents involved.

Is this by any chance the instructions you were reading?

Here is an equally nice set of instructions, with language and screenshots that are more Mac OS X friendly.

If your CC is sims3pack based rather than package based, then none of this applies. Those kind get installed by placing them in your game folder's Downloads folder and using the Launcher.
