So if anyone could help me choose a laptop that is best for this type of thing then It will be appreciated or list the laptop you use and wether it works great or not. Im in the UK by the way so any American websites aren't no good. Thank You So Much In Advanced!!! P.S: Please don't say ill be better off buying a desktop as I need it to be portable :lovestruc

The HP has a 4 core, hyperhthreaded i7, and a 740M graphics chip with 2 GB RAM. The PC Specialist uses a 2 core, hyperthreaded i5 (not as good a performer as the i7) but a slight stepped up 840M graphics chip (also 2 GB RAM). The HP has 12 GB RAM, the PC Specialist has 8 GB RAM, the difference of which probably doesn't matter all that much. So long as you're not running a half dozen other things in the background when you play. Both will work. I might give a slight edge to the HP, with the beefier CPU and a bit more memory, as I don't think the difference from the 740M to the 840M will be all that appreciable to your game play.

STILL, understand, these are laptops, and you are paying a premium for the form factor, and laptop components do not perform as "well" as desktop equivalents, mostly because laptops are all about power management to make the batteries last longer. You would get more value for your money with a desktop. however, if the form factor of a laptop is a necessity for your circumstances, both should meet your needs. Just remember to keep the laptop on a hard surface when you play to allow for proper airflow to prevent the inevitable overheating game play causes on any laptop.

If you decide to go for the PC Specialist one, it'll be cheaper to get it directly from PC Specialist - configured almost the same as the Currys model (I couldn't find options for the 7200rpm 1TB HDD, or the eSATA/USB combo port), it costs £675 from PC Specialist. Plus, as PC Specialist allows for customisation, you could boost the graphics card and/or CPU, or add an SSD or some more storage - switching the 840M for an 850M, and the i5 for an i7-4710MQ, the laptop comes to £731, so still £18 cheaper than getting the lower spec version from Currys.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
