I just got it yesterday, and I think it's about time the game had a Loves to Swim trait. After all, there's the Hydrophobic trait.

I found out that babies and toddlers can get seasick on a houseboat. (Not my child Sim, since I got her the Strong Stomach lifetime reward.)

In order to have a Sim upgrade the houseboat to Auto Pilot, handiness level 7 is required.

Shark attacks don't always kill your Sim, they might get a Mauled by Shark moodlet.

Been messing with it, basically the only major difference between a houseboat and a regular house is the houseboat is a moving home lot. Sims can go anywhere they want, they just take a boat taxi if necessary. My child Sim has yet to start school, I was a bit concerned about that until I found information on the EA forum.

If you start a game in the IP world and pick the house that's on the small island to the left, the game will crash to desktop at 10:13 a.m. on the first day when it tries to spawn the University Mascot but can't! Boo EA!

I found out that children and teens get teleported to the school bus. Heh.

And--if you Sim gets in a fight with a shark and wins, they get the Pumped moodlet, and a shark tooth worth over 1600 Simoleons. And if they see sharks they wet themselves...even Brave Sims (WTF--I'd think Brave or even Daredevil wouldn't have that reaction).

EA, in their infinite wisdom, seem to think it's funny to put mermaids in Moonlight Falls more often than in Islo Paradiso... maybe all your mermaids were hydrophobics and moved there?

Seems to me that after your Sim reaches a certain level in Diving skill they stop wetting themselves when seeing sharks.

I'm thinking about 5-6.

I discovered that the diving areas are too deep to just copy/paste into the shallow waters of Sunlit Tides.

I discovered that it's laggy as hell. I can basically play it for a few sim weeks tops before it collapses upon itself. Oh, and the routing is a nightmare.

I deleted almost all the lots in that world and it still lags up pretty bad sometimes.

Y'know, it was a bit of a headache, but I did manage to place most of them in ST. I had to edit them a bit once placed, but it's a nice upgrade if you can find the correct spaces.
