Nraas' MasterController has an option which enables you to edit a Sim in CAS and change their clothes, makeup, etc. without having to use a mirror or a dresser to change their appearance. Also, the animator mod here allows you to play in-game interactions animations and EP specific animations by command. You should also check out cmomoney's Pose Player and Animation Player too.
The Pose Player can be used nicely with the Pose Player Interaction add-ons here.
