Glad you like. The shop in the picture is in the que waiting approval now. If I make more recolours, I'll just update the file - Its set to unrar into its own folder to keep things tidy.

They are found under sculptures, which is where the original is found. As far as I know, they serve a similar function - they up the room score, and there is light around them.

These candles are great.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Aaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! *deep breath* AAAAAA!!!!!!111one!1 *another deep breath* Aaaa!!! Okay I'm done... Seriously though, I have been wanting these for SO LONG. Been poking around at repository textures trying to do them myself but lacking motivation and skill in objects to do so. Thank you, thank you, a thousand times thank you!

I have tested them with NL in my game and they do not work (they are glashing blue). Even though they were made using a base game object they will only work with Pets ep

Actually, rhondalatte, she states in the first post that they'll require Holiday, so if you don't have that, that would be why they are flashing blue - the new mesh works fine but because it uses the Holiday candle textures you're getting flashing blue like you're missing the texture.

There's not a checkbox for Holiday, now that I look at it, but there should be... I'll look into that.

Thank you for pointing that out HyP, I was so looking forward to using these beautiful candles that I totally overlooked that notation.

I'll look into making some candle meshes from scratch at some point, with their own master object. It might take a little time, especially with me being in the middle of another two projects. But candles are such a nice thing to have all year around, not just during the holidays.

Have you seen Numenors Base Game starter that can be used to create using any of the EP's or none? My friend KansasCityRose made a beautiful mesh with Pets installed and it cannot be used without having that EP even though it was based on a bed from the original game.

The problem with these are that I pull the textures from the holiday candles. Basically, I'm going to need to learn how to do animation stuff to make my own from scratch. This is because if I do make candles. I'm going to want to add the fragrance from those snapdragons and a lit/unlit state.

And yes, that is a wonderful mod and I need to start using it, since I'm doing more meshing. I'll probably go back and redo all my meshes for my current projects with it, thank you for reminding me of it.

---Wait, you say these are working with pets, but not holiday? Or that you have holiday and NL, but its only working with pets?

I only have the NL ep, my apologies for overlooking the part of your post that stated that the Holiday pack is needed.
I love the idea of scented flowers and candles, the only one I've seen so far is Carrigons peppermint scented sniffable candle.
