This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default cigarette smoking mod no longer functions correctly
i'm afraid this wonderful mod has stopped working in my game. i thought the problem may have come from the most recent ea update, but spoke to a fellow player who has not updated and she has the same problem.. i click the cigarette package and tell a sim to smoke, they walk towards the pack then disappear and reappear in another spot in the room. when i told them to smoke in egypt, they would disappear and reappear at base camp. also i can't put the cigarettes into their inventory. but they will smoke autonomously. any help would be appreciated. i Love this mod and want it to work. thanks!!

Sounds like a conflict with another mod, possibly something inventory-related. Have you tried testing the smoking mod on its own, with no other CC in the game?

no, but i will do so today. thanks for the suggestion. will let you know if it works.
