WCIF Great custom neighborhood (preferably urban)
Hi, everyone!

Could you please suggest a great custom neighborhood for TS2, preferably an urban one?

I got The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and I thought that I'd make myself a custom NY neighborhood, but sadly my standards aren't as high as my skills in decorating. I've seen screenshots of some great grungy city neighborhoods, but I haven't found a download link to any. I really want to play in a neighborhood that looks busy and has a lot of rowhouses and apartments.

But, I'm also getting so desperate that I think I'd settle for any great-looking custom neighborhood.

Thank you!

Mooville is a great hood and all the business lots can all go right next to each other and line up like roll houses and all the light color roofs houses can all go very close to each other which makes it look very urban: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=534158
ADD: Also the grey roof houses can go next to each other and look almost like roll houses.

Riverside is a very busy hood and can even get busier if you add more Sims. http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=503756

If you mean grungy city type urban, this is the best urban hood I have seen, by Pschosim's http://psychosim.livejournal.com/20443.html

I agree with Jo on Psychosim's hood. I use it as one of my three downtowns ( and I'm pretty demanding when it comes to grunge ) It really isn't that daunting to make your own urban (grungy or not) hood. If you like the pics of mine here http://www.modthesims.info/showthre...5#startcomments , last pics on that page and there are a few more pics in another post on the next page , just send me a pm and I'll send along some info I'd compiled for people that had previously asked me. I already had the resources in place and it only took me about 20-25 hours to make that hood. I have many links for hood deco , lots ( both comm. and res) and buy/build mode stuff and can very easily copy/paste and send your way if it helps.
