Default The weakest element in the computer?
Welcome,
At the beginning I apologise for my not good English. For a long time (4-5 years...) I wasn't interested in the acquisition of any computer hardware, therefore I would like to ask you - which element I should focus on as first? I already decided long time ago that I must do something with the computer, and lags in The Sims 3 additionally motivated me to do this (In theory my computer meets the requirements). Basically value of RAM was 4GB, but some months ago I have changed it into 8 (DDR2 type - my motherboard can't take any other).

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
500 GB HD

I would start by replacing the graphics card and the power supply.
