Sims 3 Generations & Pets Custom Content Question
Okay, so I've seen a bunch of stuff from the Sims 2 and earlier Sims 3 expansion pack that people have made compatible for the Sims 3. If that is possible, shouldn't someone be able to modify some of the stuff from the Sims 3 Generations and Sims 3 Pets so that it's compatible for the others that don't have their games as up to date? Or is that illegal to do? Just wondering.

It is possible, but pretty pointless and illegal.

If you want those objects, why don't you buy the expansion packs?

Lol! I am getting them when I get paid next week, but I was just wondering, because a friend of mine has all but Generations and wanted me to convert some of the stuff, but if it's illegal I'm not gonna do it.

Converting for personal use is OK, because you own it. It's sharing that raises issues
