Hello there! I wasn't quite sure where to post this but I have a tip for everyone who is planning to buy the Seasons epansion. There are a ton of holidaythemed decorative stuff and some lamps in The Store, (especially for christmas) and it is for free! So if you like cluttering your home according to the seasons I definitely would recommend you to check it out

I was wondering about that. Lets me know those sets missing weren't just the site being stupid again.

Leave it to EA to make a truly dumbass decision like that. Only EA could employ people so stupid as to think sims' holidays will coincide with our own.

Not the EA store per se but Origin has a good deal going on: Buy one expac and get a free expac or free stuff pack. Just picked up Showtime and Outdoor Living for $30 bucks U.S.

When something new is available for free at the Sims 3 Store people come here and provide a link to the free item(s).
All you have to do is come to the last page and click on the link to be taken straight to the item.

In the current Daily Deal, the Year of the Rabbit set is free. This deal will end in 11 hours or, I suppose, when the limit is claimed (counter currently indicates 15%).

Edit: ...and the Rabbit deal "sold out" with 4 hours to go. Now the Year of the Tiger is available for the next 12 hours.

Edit2: Tiger deal 100% claimed with 4.5 hours to go.

According to The Sims 3 facebook page there will be more build/buy freebies available today and tomorrow through the in-game shop mode. (Jan 26 - Jan 27) I can't confirm what though as I have the in-game shop mode turned off.

Thanks for the heads up Menaceman. I had a look and found the "Destiny dining Chair" going free There were a few discounts but I wasn't able to find any other freebies. I was kinda in a rush though and didn't have time to finish checking the build section so there might be more.
Me? Sarcastic? Never.

2 prius models, 5 plants, 2 guitars, a laptop, 2 stereos, solar panels, and a windmill - among other things - are included in this free download.

Not that I can currently get ANY store content to actually appear in my game right now. *sigh*

BTW - all the stuff at this link:

Is also still free. Santa hats and other Xmas/Hanukkah whatnots.
