I've had this problem before, it could be related to installing sims3pack files this time. Since I'm a builder I will keep having these issues, because the houses needs a fresh start or will be bugged with dozens of items i haven't used in the house.

The issue is the game won't load, if I use the launcher it lifts to a black start to load and then crash to desktop. If I don't use the launcher the same happens.

I have tried cleaning cache tons of times, I read something about featured items folder and changed that to read only or something. Its now clean. I have started a new savegame as I often do, that didn't solve anything either. I'm not going to reinstall the game, because I don't really think that's going to solve anything. I may have a graphicscard problem, but I hope not. On the other hand that timing might just be perfect for a new comp in a couple of weeks, but I want to build houses *tearing hairs*
