Default HQ Mods questions?
So, I've recently been looking into Sims 3 HQ mods. Specifically, I've been thinking of downloading this one at simsl3gacies: http://simsl3gacies.com/blog/2013/1...low-2-in-1-mod/. I already have simsl3gacies' No Glow Mod and it's made such a difference in gameplay for me.

Now, I know that HQ mods are not a new thing, but I've never installed one. I have always been hesitant to download one because I have read that over time they can mess up certain graphical things in your game and/or computer. I know my laptop can handle a mod like this but I'm just worried about it causing long-term damage to my game or laptop. But, they make the game look so nice, so it's always been very tempting for me. So, the question I have is do these types of mods really cause damage? For people who have played with these mods, do you see a real noticeable difference during game play? Has anyone experienced any sort of game/computer damage from using them?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ah, okay that answers a lot of questions for me. I take pictures of my game occasionally but not regularly. Mostly, I just like to play the game instead of using my sims as models for a tumblr or something, heehee. So, it really wouldn't make sense for me to install an HQ mod since I wouldn't really utilize the benefits of it. Thanks so much for your help, nitroman.
