Have you patched the game? http://thesims2.ea.com/update/getpa...4&languageCode=

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.

Did the patch make any difference? Try uninstalling the FFS pack again, and check that the FFS reg keys are gone before reinstalling:

hi i don't have the patch, and i dont really understand all the technical mumbo jumbo as i'm not too good with computers . But i have uninstalled FFS and reinstalled it many times with no difference. And i have had Clean Installer check my downloads folder and i removed all hacks that i didn't know of with still no FFS content.

http://thesims2.ea.com/update/getpa...4&languageCode= It fixes disappearing FFS content. You should download and install ALL patches for the games you have installed.

huh...? i thought the patches were bad. Like a last resort kind of thing. Are your save files different if you have a patch? Will your game stop working if you ever remove it? Can you ever remove it?

If you uninstall, the patches are removed. Patches are CRITICAL fixes for your game. I wouldn't dream of playing without them. Why do you think that software developers make them? They are fixing broken game code that can wreck your game (s).

thanks for clearing that up for me. So when i save it to disk does it go on the FFS disk or the Pets disk which is the one i use to play my game on?

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about installing the patches?

If so, just save to your desktop. Double click the patch to install. It will do it automatically. You *may* need your game disks handy for verification. Do the patches in order:
Basegame, Uni, NL, OFB, FFS, Pets.

If the installer says the game is updated...no problem. Move on to the next patch. Wash, rinse, repeat. After installation, you can delete the icons for the patches from your desktop.

Here's the list of patches:
http://thesims2.ea.com/update/?pid=Help_patches Take a gander at the game problems they fix!
