Sims crashes because graphics card issue
Hi okay so I'm sorry if this been answered in some previous thread, but I coulnd't find anyone but this: http://modthesims.info/showthread.p...hics+card+issue but that one doesn't have a solution. I have the same problem as her, but instead for ''NVIDIA'' I have ''Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600'' as in the picture below. Sims crashing has started since I got my new computer and as the picture shows, it's having a problem with my graphics card. I have my drivers up to date, (I updated them yesterday and today) but Sims still crashes ;_; I found some thread saying that u can change some shit in the GraphicsCard.sgr file in the Bin folder, but I don't really know what I should change? if the problem even is in the GraphicsCard.sgr file.. I opened the GraphicsCard.sgr file with notepad, and nearly everywhere in the file it says ''unsupported''. Idk if this has something with the problem to do. I really have no clue what the problem is I do have many mods and cc installed, but according to ''Sims3Dashboard'' I have no conflicts nor bad cc. I did have some corrupted files in the library, but they are now gone. I don't know what I should do my drives are up to date, my computer is a good one so it can definitely handle Sims 3 and I have no lag at all. I can play for about 5-30 minutes before it crashes. can someone please help me? I also found this: http://modthesims.info/t/481768 but I don't really understand, nor do I have those settings in the ''controllpanel for Intel(R) HD-graphics'' or maybe it's just me not finding them ;-; I'm sorry if I chose the wrong category for this thread ;w;

I'm sorry, I'm very new to Mod The Sims ^^'' Yeah I have looked at 'help' section, but I can't find my problem, because here: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...Sims_3_Crashing and here: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title...:Graphics_Cards I don't have these problems.. My problem is that Sims crashes because it can't find my graphics card According to TS3 Crash log analyzer.

If u mean this thread: http://modthesims.info/m/showthread.php?t=564299 I don't have that issue either, maybe I'm unclear about my problem, my problem is that Sims crashes because it can't find my graphics card, I don't have any lag or bug in the game. Everything is perfect. It's just that it crashes after 5-30 minutes

Never mind finding the graphics card. It's probably not good enough for the game. You should try the help section at the top. Lots of tips there. Have you tried adjusting the graphics in options?

But I have maximum on every option? And the game doesn't lag at all? And it loads super fast. How can that be ''not good enough'' ?

Okay first, I have googled this issue. I googled for 3 days, read many threads, but since I never found someone with the same problem as me, or the solution, I decided to make a thread. And this is the first thread I've ever made, I didn't know what to write And when I chose what category to put this in, it didn't have "help" so I took general. I'm terrible sorry for not knowing what to do. My computer skills isn't the best either so I don't know what a "clean run" is, nor what "deviceconfig" is.. I know how u feel though, so I'm sorry
