Okay, when I load the sims it's ok until I load my neighborhood. It starts out okay but then the music skips and then the screen goes black and i'm back to windows. I have tried deleting .cache and any other weird things that may have been in my folder. I only have one cheat, the insiminator. I deleted all the others. I don't know why it is doing this. I played it last night and it was fine until it crashed but that happens all the time after so much time. I've experienced many bugs but have found ways around it. However, this is one I cannot get around because it won't load therefore I cannot play. I'm very frustrated, can somebody help me with this?

I just want to play my sims, man. I hate all these complications that I keep coming across.

Uh ok, well no responses. Ok. Well I went http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=81491 there and did number four and now all my saved sims are gone. Like it's as if I reinstalled it. And the neighborhood is like it was for sims 2 and I don't know how to get to the one associated with the university. It's weird. help? Please!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, is your game working now? If so, then this shows that your problem was with your userfiles. You won't have any University neighbourhoods because Bairy's fix was designed to make the neighbourhoods regenerate to their 'just installed' state. You either need to create new Uni neighbourhoods, or- if you want your old neighbourhood back- follow the link in number four on the thread you linked to in your second post. If you finish reading Bairy's post you'll see that it explains to you what you need to do next.
