I downloaded a whole bunch of clothes and stuff for the sims nightlife, but none of them are working, and I'm pretty sure I extracted all the files correctly. What's the problem??

Do you have NightLife? Because your profile sais you only have the original game.

everytime i try to downlode something that is in a zipped folder i get a message saying: Please double-click a coustom content package file to install the content.
This is after I extract the content too. What am I doing wrong??

ok im still very confussed I got the sim2pack but I don't understand what it is supposed to do. I don't understand any of this about the downloading, I guess I must be missing something. But thank you for trying to help

alc88, the Clean Installer will be your default for opening sims2pack files, like packaged sims and lots, and also homecrafter items (floor and walls). When you double click on, for example, a packaged lot file, the Clean Installer will read what's in the pack (wallpapers, furniture recolours, terrain paint, the lot itself, etc), and you can choose which of these you install. Very handy for making sure there aren't any hacks in there that you don't know about. But also you can use the Clean Installer to scan your folders, so that you can view the contents. This allows you to figure out what all those package files in your downloads which have strange names actually contain! If you look on the Clean Installer site, there are hints and tips for use. The Clean Installer can also be used to disable files- by removing the tick- which is handy for situations where the game isn't working, to disable hacks.
