I'd like to try my hand at creating collection icons with pictures... does anyone know how to do this?

I've seen LoveRat's collection icons (and downloaded them) but would like a few more of my own making. Can someone link me to the area where it shows us how to do it? Or can someone tell me how to do it?

You need to make a bitmap image, 28X22 pixels, 95dpi, 24 bit colour and put them into my documents/ eagames/ thesims2/ collections/ icons. If you look at one of Loverat's icons in a photo editing program you'll see what I mean.
