Hi, i was wondering if there is a way to turn rar files into zip files without having to purchase a program? If someone could tell me how, or even if it is possible I would really appreciate it. thanks :nod:

Download WinRAR. It has a free trial (and just a nag screen after the trial runs out) and you'll be able to open and create rar and zip files.

There are several free rar programs out there, just type "free rar" into Google and you should find a few. Why are you trying to turn them from one to the other though? If you want a zip, then zip your files. If you want a rar, rar your files. If you just want the contents, then unzip/unrar the files directly.
