I downloaded a mesh & its black. Can I make it normal? #1 |
| Haydeng |
The title says it all, I have a downloaded mesh, but the mesh is all black and i want it to be a different colour. But it stays black. Should I just keep making the car and when it goes in game it will work, or can anyone PLEASE help me fix this? Thanks... |

Are you using Milkshape? If you are, choose select all, then go to Face along your tool bar and then select "reverse vertex order" You will find then it will change from black to white. Regards Zita |

then I am sorry, you should quit work on it and start another. it will be unusable that I know of anyway. I very rarely use free meshes (although I sometimes do) preferring to make my own because of problems like this or they have wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too many polys |

ok I am using Version: 2.0.5337 WinXP although I don't think having different versions matter all that much. Regards Zita www.aussietopenders-sims2.com |

It's ok, I think I've figured it out, Reversing might have helped but I;m not sure, for people who want to know what I did, I went to Face>Smooth All. And it got rid of the blackness. Thanks Zita for your help. PS. I'm glad that there are more Aussie Sim sites around, yours is great. Bye... |
