If I put too many things on it, will it fall crashing off the wall, just like in real life? Just kidding! This is great - I can't wait to stuff a bunch of things on it. Hmm, wonder how many espresso cups it can hold...

Cups placed there by the sims: zero; the sims don't put anything on the shelf autonomously; they can only interact with the objects already there.
