Well I can't seem to fix the problem I was having with my neighborhood (HUGE thanks to simsample for trying to help me ), so I was wondering if there is any way I could save my lots and sims. The problem is that when I try to access the neighborhood the game crashes. There were some really cool lots and some awesome families in there that I would really cry over if I lost. Is there anything I can do? Like move their files to another neighborhood or something? (Since I can't access this neighborhood, it isn't like I can put the families and lots in the lots and houses bin.) I've tried already to move the files, but it doesn't seem to be working. But I'm not very file-savvy here...I don't know what anything is beyond the folders...anyway, if anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated! Yes, I know I'm an impatient nag...:sorry:

I don't think there is any way of doing this, as the lot and character information is kept within the Neighbourhood files. The only thing I can suggest is to remove files in chunks from the corrupt neighbourhood folder to see if you can find out which part is causing the crash. If it's the N_00x file, it may not be possible.
