Everytime I play my game, the sims I was using the previous time, arent on the lots anymore. i save the game everytime but it doesnt help. I also tried clicking on the Insiminator and choosing "Enable Save" and still, it didnt help. Please some one help me! I had a family i was in love with and now they are gone! I really need help! :sadpanda:

Make sure you have enough free space on your hard drive; I know in the readme file for the game, it mentions that if you're low on space, it may seem like the game has saved but actually hasn't. It recommends 500 mb free, but just for general health and good running, I'd recommend at least a gig personally.

And of course, remove all your hacks and try it hack-free... Normally I'd recommend removing all custom content, but if you save that way, you'll be stuck with Maxis defaults.

Actually, a disk cleanup would probably be easier, faster, and free up more space for ya. Empties your recycle bin, gets rid of temp files, etc... Last time I did a disk cleanup, I managed to free up about 2 gigs in the blink of an eye.

I did a disk cleanup and I have 15.6 GB of free space, and i moved my downloads folder to my desktop and tried it then, and it still doesnt save my sims. i have no clue whats going on


Do you think I will have to re-install? I hope not.... :sadpanda:

No one is helping me anymore....well i went ahead and uninstalled OFB....I didnt think it was fun anyway. But I think My game is letting me save now. I have to check and make sure. if it isnt saving then i have no clue what to do....
