This is a suggestion for the next update, but I don't know if this is the right place to put it. When installing things, I frequently get told the file already exists but my only options are overwrite or not (including Yes to All and No to All). In the next version, I'd really like to see a "Add in Series" option. Basically, don't overwrite, just add a (#) to the end. So Brown.package, for instance, would install that way when it first is found. Next time the file Brown.package shows up it gets installed as Brown(2).package. After that it's Brown(3).package and so on. It means there will be more duplicates when you go to look, sure, but it also means that when two things have the same file name but are actually different, you'll be able to get both (which is my current problem since I have waaaaaay too many downloads). |
