I want to know how to recolour stuff.I've got SimPE.
What program can I use to recolour them?
I only have gotten this far as to the part after you select what you want to recolour and then on the left toolbat thingy there are a bunch of stuff listed. What do I do next?
I know there are tuturals but they dont make sense or they are half a mile long.I just tried to recolour drums and Ive selected the drums and clicked on the 'next' button and on the left side of the screen there was a few things listed. On which one do I click to recolour (If that is where you click) and with what?I have paintshop pro. Please help.

Well, the tutorials are meant for beginners like you . They may seem long, but if long is what it takes to include all the essentials, then long it has to be. Numenor has a good, fairly recent recoloring tutorial here.

It doesn't really matter, SimPE hasn't changed much since the tutorial was written for when it comes to the functions used in recoloring objects. So, just follow the tutorial and don't worry about it .

Oh, because I follow all the steps of that tutuiral and then theres this step where I needed to right click on the edited pic of the lampshade and then I needed to click on 'Build ....'(Sorri I cannot remember what needs to stand in the place of the ....
But when I try to click on the build .... thing it does not work.
That option is not even available to start with. The option is there but I cannot click on it, so I cant go any further????

That's why it has a big flashing light at the top of that tutorial telling you to get the NVidia DDS utilities - you'll need that in order to do Build DXT.
