My sim(the one in my avatar :D) wants to own 5 businesses and i thought why not. Problem is,i got OFB when it first came out and after a few tries with businesses i found it alittle hard to do,so i never really did much with the business side. But now my sim has bought the lulu lounge,i turned it into a club,it has 2 bars,DJ booth,2 guitars, drum set and a karaoke and 2 items from here, love bed and that strip cage thing. Anyway my sim wants badges,i take it you have to have your sim work on the robot, toy and flower maker for those badges. But what about customer badges,i remember when i did run a shop you get sales badges when your sim talks another into buying something.Problem is i dont have any items to buy in my club. Also another of my sims wants is to have a good review, how does he get it? |

Your sim needs a ticket machine, and then he can start learning to " sell", also if you have inventory your sims can "sell" that and get badges for "restocking" and the register. Each badge is specialized for a particular field. A flower shop owner needs to learn to make flower, run the register, restock and sell, each business requires the same thing for it's own field. To have 5 top businesses your sim needs have all 5 be a level ten. Hope that makes sense. It's not hard, it just takes time. If I missed something, someone please add to this. |

I did put a ticket machine on the lot and charging a cheap price too start with. I noticed though that no-one was ordering drinks there,i dont think they really did anything when they came into the lot, about 4 danced when my sim was the DJ though. But if its a club, what do i sell? There is just the bar and Ticket booth that would make money and maybe the karaoke machine(i think i saw that take money of a sim when they stopped singing, but it could of been something else) |

If its club you can only sell tickets, set it a bit low until your sim gets his babge to gold. It take time and ranking to build up costumers. The more they like your sims, and he builds up a customer ranking the more they will use all aspects of your club. Try adding a small restaraunt later, but you will need to build up your sims cooking skill. For example; I had a health club with a hot-tub and work out equipment. I also added, later, fine statues to sell, a magazine rack, I offered free make-overs ect. When my sims ranking became at about 7 I sold food, such as, salad, mac and cheese ect. Be creative as you get more sims to your club add stuff to sell. |
