 why my sims are this?

mi sims look like the image what´s this? http://img424.imageshack.us/img424/9228/imagen14kc.jpg I unninstall the game but the problem is there, what can I do?.thanks. |

Erm, Sock Puppet, those are just different custom clothing recolours... that are all displaying wrong, showing black where they're supposed to be skintone. |

I have the same problem, but in my case the skin turned black when my sims aged. Before that they were ok. The skintone is custom, but the mom (who I created in CAS) is just fine. The problem occured on her two daughters. One when going to college and turned into a young adult. The other skipped college and aged to adult. When they aged from child to teen everything was fine. So how could this be a graphic driver problem? |

If it isn't a graphics driver issue, then it will either be a corrupted default replacement, or a corrupted game file. First, try it with the downloads and saved sims folder cut and pasted to the desktop. If that isn't successful, then restore the objects.package file: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=134921 If that doesn't work, then back up your files and reinstall. http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139059 |

That is about what I've been doing. Thank you! I'm down to adult female clothing and am slowly installing them back a few at a time. Eventually I'll find it. But I really do have to many downloads!!! Thank God I've categorized them before hand. Thank you so much for your great advise! HUGS! |
