m3lani3 Original Poster Field Researcher Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 213 Thanks: 289 in 15 Posts	I'm using this tutorial : http://www.thesimsresource.com/down...rials?ID=312429 I finished the neighbour hood and saved and went to Docs/Sim City 4/Regions but I get Berlin, Downloads, Fairview, London, New York, San Francisco and Timbuktu - no region I made. I went back into Sim City 4 and it's there! Still, no file. In Downloads folder off Region I have City - New City.sc4 that's 377kb. So what have I done wrong? Thank you.

Are you only choosing a small neighbourhood in SimCity4?
The first time I tried this, I made it too large for Sims 2!!
Also are You in MAYOR mode when making it in SimCity4?

starrling Lab Assistant Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 156 Thanks: 3921 in 58 Posts View My Journal	When you make a city, you make it inside a region. So look in each of the regions (unless you remember which one you used) and you should find it there.

MoysanMorr Test Subject Join Date: Apr 2006 Posts: 5	Ok.. Iam having sort of the same problem and I've followed the instructions over and over and over again.. still somethings really wrong.. It drives me crazy >.< I tried to open a small city in Timbuktu, opened the Mayor option first renamed it and then used the Ctrl + alt + shift and God option. After that I remade it and then when I opened the Timbuktu file in the Region file I could simply not find it.. so I tried agian and Ive been trying for several hours figuring out what Iam doing wrong.. without progress whatsoever.. Can somebody please help me..? I just cant find anything Ive done...

patul Mad Poster Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 3,043 Thanks: 19772 in 158 Posts View My Journal	Do you save your city ? during the game it is CTRL+S TRY : enter the city, name it, build 1 square of road ,save and quit the region, the name must appear. If not check the attributes of your files perhaps they are in read-only mode ? I never use the default regions, I work in an all small cities region it is easier to move them, no more matter of size.
