I am aware that you can preview items by selecting the "Recolour Preview" from the "Material Override (MMAT)" in SimPE. But for me, it only shows up as a large grey mesh of the object. Is there any way I can actually see the texture map on the object in preview mode? |

It should be showing the textures. |

You could import a texture file on your UV mapped mesh in your 3d editor. |

That would require exporting the mesh, which is most likely in a different package (or two or three or ...). SimPE's MMAT Preview should do it without problem. Is the object Maxis or custom? |

Oh yeah, I was thinking House & Home had made her own mesh. |

It's the Maxis cheap coffeemaker that I recoloured. I updated the texture files and they show correctly ingame, but in preview mode it's just the grey mesh. | |
