Yeah, I don't remember ever buying anything there myself (just browsed), but it makes a great sim store!

Well, Hot Topic's slogan is "all about the music", not all about the goth, so they don't claim to be a goth store. I find it amusing the sales clerks, usually so obviously shop somewhere else, since what they are wearing tends to be better than what's on the walls/shelves. Compared to what stores are available in most malls or cities, however, obviously the impression is that they are gothic. It certainly gives goth/punk kids a place to work, where they aren't going to be told their attire is "inappropriate for work". Elitists are funny.

I HATE it when people say Hot Topic is a goth store! I will admit to going there a few times. Anyways, it's mostly just cheap crap in there. Besides, does anyone want me to start the famous hour-long lecture about how 'goth' isn't a style? Um, I'd better just shut up and post this before I get myself into trouble with the mods that look over these posts. :0

This is great! I've had the sign for two years or more but never got around to actually making the store! Now with OFB, H&M, & Teen Stuff as well as all my Goth stuff Now they will have somewhere to shop! This is loads better than our local HT, which is barely more than a hole in the wall.
