I know there's a link to a fix for this issue here:
11. There is a fix for the colonial bed and the tulip lamp that Numenor created. If you think you applied a batch fix on these files, just redownload and reinstall them. You can get the patches here:

http://forums.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=57977

However, when I click the link I get this instead:
Holy Joe Smith, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account from accessing this area.

Help? Oh, and thanks in advance.

That's because it's been moved into the thread archives. It was probably no longer needed or a newer one was done and put out.

edit: aha, I looked at the thread - the fix started being included with the CEP in version 3.

Aaah! Okay, I'll go get that, though a kind soul over at MATY provided me with Numenor's original files. Haven't used the CEP in a while since I don't have custom objects in my game currently, side from hacks. I wonder if this is the same problem that seems to have appeared with the new table lamp from Glam Life... hmmm. Will have to see about that.

Well thanks for the advice; problem solved
