The most famous samurai (which literally means "to serve" in Japanese) of the Tachibana clan of Kyushu was probably Tachibana Ginchiyo ("g" pronounced like "go"). She was one of if not the only woman head of a clan. This resembles her armor save the color. The actual color was an indigo.
