How do I increase my pet's aspiration level so it can eat from the kibble of life bowl?

Thanks

Fullfill his wants, that's the only way without cheating...

If you do want to cheat you can use "boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true" go to spawn, sim modder, aspiration, and platinum. However this is a dangerous cheat and I'm not sure it will work with pets as I haven't tested it quite yet. So use at your own risk and make sure to turn it off (change true to false) when done.

P.S. I think there's also a cheat that stops animals from aging all together, type "help" in the cheat screen and it will show you all the cheats and there desriptions.

I have found that the pets aspiration level does not have to be up, only the sim who commands the pet to eat from the Kibble. So make sure the sim who commands the pet to eat the kibble is gold or platinum and it works just fine. I tried it myself and it works.

Pet's don't have aspiration either, do they?
It's the sim who commands the pet to eat from the bowl who needs to have high aspiration.

That's odd, I could've sworn I saw the pets have wants and such. I defenetly need to play with them more...

From the Prima Guide: "Unlike other Aspiration reward objects, the Kibble of Life won't ever fail." So don't worry about the pets aspiration level. Also, a sim needs to command a pet to eat from the dish, they won't autonomously.

Please do not PM me with Game or Site Help questions. Post them in the appropriate section after going through the FAQs.
