Awesome idea! Now I don't have to worry about my Sims mopping up messes after letting their victims starve to death. >:3

hmm... why not making it drain the puddles from the room instead of a given range?

Thats a really cool idea... Can you make recolors of it? Or an invisible one?

Yeah...my bathrooms are quite often long and skinny, which would require the use of several, which would look odd. Could you make an invisible one, mabie?

Still, this is a great idea!

I see few posts wanting to make it invisible this thread. I will try to make a new recolor invisible if it is okay with you.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

I like that this only covers a 3x3 area. Heavy cheats are annoying.

This is wonderful. I hope it works for dog puddles outside too! Thanks.

Oh, wonderful! I'm gonna try this one out. Two teens and a child in one of my families floods the bathroom every time they take a shower.

What a fabulous idea! Thank you.

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

Great idea! Now I will no longer have to delete the poodles sims make. No more flooded bathrooms! Thanks for sharing.

Awesome idea, I love it. Works really well when my sims flood the bathroom. Thanks

Great idea. I've always wanted something like this. Theres nothing worse than having to mop up the bathroom after a toddler's been playing in the toilet. Now I wont have to lock the toddlers away upstairs, away from all the bathrooms anymore.

Question...has anyone else notice the drains increase in value? I had these installed in one of my dorms and went to move one in build mode and the sell value was about $24,000 for one and $27,000 for another. My student had been in Uni for about 4 quarters and that was playing half-time with the Uni phone book cheat! My Sims can make quite a return on that $200+.

there is a problem with the value/pricing.
i decided to track one of them over a 12 hour period of time.
so i bought it for $163, and i checked it's value every hour on the hour:
$163-$88-$100-$209-$392-$627-$594-$965-$1987-$3758-$4175-$5023-$5952
so it increased $5789 in 12 hours. i continued watching it and the price peaked at $32,537 it then reset itself to $68.
lol. at the time i had already bought four, so my family worth was fluctuating $120,000 every 36 hours.

it is completely amazing though! i love it. i'm just limiting how many i have and making sure to sell them back after they've reset, otherwise i'd be flooded with money!

Reminds me of the console game, Bustin' Out. I've missed these! Thanks

I noticed these were updated to not increase in value. Do you still have the one that does increase in value. I for one, didn't mind the appreciation my sims were earning from there plumbing sells. Just wondering, dl'g again anyway.
