I have kinda the same problem, but my problem is that ALL my downloaded stuff doesnt show up AT ALL (neither in the game, nor in the catalog). EVERYTHING blinks blue and is changed into a Maxis thing its HORRIBLE please help me !!!!

As I just said above, flashing blue items are quite different from flashing red walls, DirrtySteph. Please keep posts on-topic. I'll give you a couple fixes but if you have further questions you need to start your own thread as your problem is completely unrelated to flashing red walls.

Either your stuff doesn't show up, or it blinks blue. Which one is it?

Your profile says you just have Original, Uni, and Pets, so if you were downloading content compatible with Uni and just installed Pets it's possible a lot of the items you have were only for Uni. There was an issue back then with items that worked with just Uni but not later EPs. I remember having to delete quite a few items as the original creator never updated them. Once you get your workable content going again (all sim-related content should be fine, as should walls, floors, and ground cover), and get CEP installed, you may have to clear out anything left flashing blue and go hunt down the original creator to see if they have released an updated version.

my problem is that NOTHING shows up, the downloaded objects are all flashing blue and turned into maxis stuff. I thought i'd just deleted them and then put them again in my lot, but then i saw that there was NOTHING in my catalog, no custom stuff downloaded ! But I installed it on my brother's computer, (got problems there too, the game crashed after only a little while) and the downloaded stuff (which i have here too) did show up ! so i think for what you say, the updates because some aren't compatible with Pets, it may be only a little part of my downloads...

But I guess the stuff blinks blue because i dont have those items in the catalog anymore. But stuff like the Harry Potter Project thing that I downloaded last week, doesnt work anymore either.

I will make my own thread now ! LOL

Ok to clear that title a bit, actually all of the objects that WERE supposed to be downloaded, blink blue ! why that 'were supposed' ? Because they disappeared and got replaced by maxis stuff, its HORRIBLE.

It sounds as though your custom content isn't enabled- do you have your options set like this?

I tried to play again today and suddenly EVERYTHING works again.

Even though i didnt change ANYTHING, everything works, isn't it strange ? I checked the options, and BOTH are set to 'ON'. Should I change something even though it works now ?
