Went through en7en's Pagoda tutorial (which was brilliant), nearly made it to the end and now I have this beautiful roof and it won't let me place walls beneath it . . . something about cannot place because of a floor tile? Can anyone help to solve this problem? |

First try to see it your roof is not 1 click too low just in this place. Build a numenor unleveled wall then apply a wall paint with a stripe on top and on bottom, then compare it with a normal one. And post a pic of this wall it will be helpful. |

You know a site allowing re-upload of free build/buy stuff in lots ? Help us to update the list ! * Plus j'échoue plus je m'approche de la réussite * The more I fail the more I approach the success (Lao patul MMVI AD) |

. . . I tried one click . . . and two . . . it just didn't work out . . . I've gone through the pagoda tutorial at least a dozen times . . . I've never had problems until now . . . I just got pets . . . I'm not sure if that's the source of the problem or not, but I did notice I couldn't build walls in my basements either . . . and as far numenor's unleveled goes . . . I would prefer not to download anything that could potentially crash my game . . . but thank you for the thought and quick response . . . |

well, may try Mikeinside's easy wall for this type of build problems if you worry about extra walls added into your game. http://mikeinside.modthesims2.com/hacks/walls.html Indeed, I'm sure you might have overlooked the another en7en pagoda tutorial (http://valot.com/aaa/ or http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=64326) or been too scared to modify the wall.txt script even though there's already an instruction in en7en's tutorial for this purpose. If you worry, just export a copy of the lot before your trial. Before any trial, just re-import the exported lot copy and run it in-game to confirm it as a working copy. The worst I know of is just ruining the tested lot and the game normally survives. So, I believe you can make it. |
